We at First Presbyterian Church are excited to share with you an important part of our ministry designed especially for the preschooler. We open our doors to our morning preschool program for ages 2 through 5, September through May.
It is our aim to provide a program which ministers to the development of the whole child. Our teachers and support staff are dedicated to providing a multifaceted learning environment. Here a child may grow not only educationally but spiritually, socially, physically, and emotionally.
We want our preschoolers to experience Christian principles in action. It is our goal to create for each child . . .

Our Program . . .
First Presbyterian Preschool will operate September through May from 8:15 to 11:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. Holidays will correspond with the Asheboro City Schools’ Schedule.
Classes will be offered for the following age groups:

2-year-old classes meet two days a week, either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.
3-year-old classes meet either 2 days a week, Tuesday/Thursday; or three days a week, Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday/Friday.
4 & 5-year-olds can choose a 2-day class, Tuesday/Thursday; a 3-day class, Monday/Wednesday/Friday; or a 5-day class, Monday-Friday.
Tuition
2-day Program – $105.00 per month
3-day Program – $120.00 per month
5-day Program – $140.00 per month
A non-refundable registration fee is paid at the time of registration. This fee is applied directly to the Preschool for supplies.

Creative Movement Program
First Presbyterian Preschool has a creative movement/music program integrated into our program. Each class takes part in the program several times a week. This program provides the children with creative movement activities that incorporate shape and number recognition, yoga, animal movements, bean bags, etc. The music program introduces the children to hand bells, creating new songs for different units, movement with music, rhythm sticks and musical instruments. Creative movement helps to enhance learning and the children benefit greatly from this program.
